dc.description.abstract | The purpose of this research is to examine the effects of leadership behaviors on distributor‗s job satisfaction and organizational commitment of the MLM companies in Ho Chi Minh City of Vietnam. The independent variables are leadership behaviors factors were represented by these variables namely up-line support, transformational leadership, leader‘s care, team spirit. The dependent variables were represented by job satisfaction and organizational commitment. A structured questionnaire was distributed to a sample of 220 distributors representing
all of the MLM companies in Ho Chi Minh City. This study was used the multiple regression analysis to show the effects of leadership behaviors on job satisfaction and organizational commitment. In addition, path analysis was conducted to find out the direct and indirect effects of the leadership behaviors on distributors‘ organizational commitment through their job satisfaction. The research's findings showed that leadership had a positive effect on Ho Chi Minh City MLM distributors' job satisfaction, and organizational commitment. Distributors‘ organizational commitment was directly affected by factors of team spirit, transformational leadership, up-line support, and job satisfaction and indirectly affected by factors of team spirit, transformational leader, and leader‘s care. Basing on the empirical results, improvement and development suggestions were provided as a positive contribution in the direction of leadership behaviors that maintain distributors' job satisfaction and organizational commitment of MLM companies in Ho Chi Minh City. | en_US |
