Factors affecting job satisfaction - Case study at credit card department, ANZ bank
Abstract
The major objective of this study is to determine the factors that affecting employee
job satisfaction at credit card, ANZ bank. The researcher has analyzed five factors that affecting
job satisfaction at credit card department. The factors influencing on job satisfaction are working
environment, supervisor’s management, payment, job engagement, teamwork..
This study was conducted in ANZ credit card department at Ho Chi Minh city. The
data of this study was obtained with the help of all employees of credit card department-HCMC
in March 2015. A total of 150 questionnaires were distributed to them. SPSS software was used
to analyze the primary data. Data analysis techniques are descriptive analysis, reliability test,
Pearson correlation test, and multiple regression analysis
Based on the results of the path analysis, this study shows the effects of four remain
independent factors on job satisfaction. Therefore, this study argues that in order to achieve high
job satisfaction, the human resource department of ANZ bank should notice and adjust
supervisor’s management, payment, job engagement and working environment. Moreover, from
the result of this research, the findings indicate that the factor of payment plays crucial role
regarding to job satisfaction.
In conclusion, from the experiences in process of conducting research, it points out
some limitations of this study and provides helpful recommendations for further research. In
addition, based on the result analyzed, the suitable suggestions could be withdrawn to help
human resource department have the better strategy to attract and keep the employees stay with
this job.
