Factors affecting employee loyalty - A comparison between international luxury hotels and Vietnamese luxury hotels in Ho Chi Minh city
Abstract
In recent years, Vietnam tourism has experienced a huge development in attracting
tourists from all over the world which leads to an increase needs for good
accommodation when the tourists come to visit. Hence, the hospitality industry
competition also raise to the maximum heat. Moving forward with the success of the
organization, there is not only a good leading of the board of director, but also the
contribution of the employees. The role of employees is very important to connect and
cooperate between company and customers. Therefore, the scope of this research will
mainly concentrate on the employees’ attitude and loyalty to their organization.
Based on the result from the data analysis, the data reveals that high level of job
satisfaction and loyalty is significantly contributed by the effectiveness of management,
good relationship between employees, and well-supplied fringe benefits. Moreover, this
study also points out that fringe benefit has a key role in keeping the employees feel
satisfied with their job and be loyal to their organization. On the other side, the data
gave out a suggestion that the training program is not significant effected to their
satisfaction and also loyalty.
To sum up, this study has a significant contribution to the further investigation about
this concept. With the research findings, this research gives some recommendation for
further study to have a better clarification of the factors affect to employee loyalty in
hospitality industry
