dc.description.abstract | Information Technology industry is considered the most developed in the future
when the technology tends to innovation periods on over the world. In Vietnam, it is also
affected, so, the competition among organizations in this industry is more and more
harshly in order to attract and retain their current and potential employees. Therefore, to
find out the best solution in the human resource management or in the recruitment
process, this study mentioned about employer brand which includes five values. In
detailed, the purpose of this study is to examine the influence of the dimension of
employer brand on employees ‘organizational retention. Additionally, the dimension of
employer brand that investigates in this research was consisted of five values which are
social, economic, development, diversity and reputation value. In this regard, the
components of employer brand as the independent variable. The results from the study
illustrated that there was a significant relationship between the four components of
employer brand (including social value, economic value, development value, and
reputation value) and employee retention.
Furthermore, this study contributes to a better understanding of the influence of
employer brand on employee retention among employees within the Information
Technology industry.
Research methods used to test the hypothesis is quantitative methods with
questionnaire survey and the sample size n = 221 and a part of qualitative methods with
in-depth interview. In addition, the scale was assessed by Cronbach’s alpha analysis and
exploratory factor analysis (EFA) to examine the reliability.
And then, the author also has some suggestions for future research on related
