| dc.description.abstract | This study attempts to examine whether principals’ transformational
leadership behaviors have possible relationship with teacher job satisfaction in preprimary schools in Ho Chi Minh City as well as to identify the influence level of its
behaviors on job satisfaction. In order to test the proposed hypotheses, a survey had
been conducted with 261 valid respondents from 14 pre-primary schools in Ho Chi
Minh City. Quantitative statistics was used to analyze collected data. The analyzing
tests conducted by using SPSS 20.0 including five steps: Descriptive Statistics,
Reliability Test, Exploratory Factor Analysis, Correlation Testing, and Regression
Analysis.
Consequently, the result revealed that Transformation Leadership obviously
had significant effect on Teacher Job Satisfaction among Ho Chi Minh pre-primary
school teachers. Interestingly, control variable Compensation has the strongest impact
on Job Satisfaction. In term of transformational leadership’s behaviors, Individual
Consideration contributes the most to Teacher Job Satisfaction, followed by Charisma,
which is an agreed combination of Idealized Influence and Inspirational Motivation,
and Intellectual Stimulation. Recommendations were proposed for school principals to
possibly raise their following teachers’ performance and optimistically maximize
teachers’ satisfaction toward their teaching job. | en_US |
