With the ever-increasing pace of technology and science, the embedded system trends have developed widespread, especially sensor device being as the state-of-the-heart in Wireless Sensor Network. One of new research trend is to design a innovative sensor device that is power-efficient and of lower cost. Therefore, we would like to suggest a new platform – designed by Texas Instruments – which meets both criteria mentioned. In this research, our group proceed the whole process of rebuilding the core of Contiki Operating System – a light-weight operating system – to be suitable for this particular platform. Keywords: embedded system, wireless sensor network, platform, sensor device, ContikiOS, Texas Instruments. (TI).en_US
