This thesis studies about scheduling of surgeries in the operation rooms with constraints of facilities and human resources. The main purpose is to maximize the number of patients served, utilized operation room resources and maximize number of patient in the recovery units of a Binh Duong Hospital. Operation rooms scheduling is finding an optimal solution for all elective surgeries based on the availability of surgeons and facilities. A model of linear goal programming is developed to help solve the problem. IBM ILOG CPLEX Optimization Studio version 12.6.2 is used to solve the model. The finale result will certainly improve the productivity of the current schedule of a Binh Duong Hospital Keywords: operation room scheduling, elective patients scheduling, optimizing scheduling, healthcare system scheduling, linear goal programming.en_US
