dc.description.abstractAs the construction industry develops, Vietnamese contractors are particularly concerned about the efficiency of Mechanical and Electrical (M&E) construction works. The aim of this research is to identify several factors exerting an influence on a project's efficiency. Practical recommendations are also suggested from an M&E contractor viewpoint. The research involved the participation of major M&E professionals who provided independent assessment and objective perception about different aspects of a project quality along with its contributing factors. In order to explain the nature of a project's efficiency and managerial factors, through analysis of practical data via using SPSS 21 software. The factors that most affect the project efficiency, arranged in descending order of importance, are as follows: i. Budget controlling in the projects ii. Completion schedule of project iii. The degree of smooth operation and the maintenance period With substantial improvement in the aforementioned activities, it is likely that the construction quality in Vietnam will get better.en_US
