dc.description.abstractTitanium exploitation in Phu Cat district, Binh Dinh province causing pollution problems, negative impact such as surface sands of hot arid deserts, exposed to intense ultraviolet (UV) radiation, cycles of extreme temperatures, desiccation and as well as social life. Extreme environments are a permanent challenge for both humans and living organisms. 16 rRNA gene amplification and sequencing processes are being conducted for the purpose of identification of bacteria have been isolated. The results of this study has showed the presence of the genera, namely, Bacillus, Arthrobacter, Curtobacterium isolated from the radioactive contaminated areas. These bacteria can live in extreme environments also showed the higher spore forming and gram-positive rate. Key words: Radiation- resistant bacteria, titanium mining, Binh Dinh.en_US
