dc.description.abstractThe thesis show the business analysis and valuation process which can be applied for any company in Vietnam. This process takes into account the analysis of the market as well as the industry in which the company operates. The company strategies and financial performance are also analyzed as the base for forecasting future prospects. Finally, discounted cash flow (DCF) model and Price/Earning (P/E) approach are applied in determining the intrinsic value of the enterprises. The case of Vietnam-Italy Steel Company (VISCO) is used in the thesis as illustration. Thus, process is proven as efficient tool in valuating business through the thesis. The analysis also shows that VISCO has an important position in the steel industry. Future projections suggest that VISCO is a good choice for long-term investors because of its competitive advantage.en_US
