| dc.description.abstract | This dissertation aims to investigate the impact of retirement on life satisfaction of the retirees living in Ho Chi Minh City in mental and physical aspects. This study follows the trend of the retirement adjustment of Vietnam government and the increase of proportion of the old in Vietnam population. Quantitative research approach and survey method conducted over 200 retirees living in Ho Chi Minh City were used as research tool. Research has identified the relationship between retirement and life satisfaction in 8 different aspects. Based on the results, research also introduce some implications for Government and policy maker, as well as some businesses having some tasks related to retirees and their living in Vietnam.
