dc.description.abstractThe purpose of this research is to empirically explore the effect of leadership styles on employee engagement in service sector in Ho Chi Minh City. Quantitative method was applied in this study. Statistical techniques such as factor, linear regression were applied. Individual is the unit of this study. With the sample size of 293 employees who were or currently work in the service sector in Ho Chi Minh City. The results of this research showed that the high level of classical leadership style, visionary leadership style, and ethical leadership style were positive correlated with the employee engagement. In the priority, visionary leadership styles effect the most on employee engagement, followed by the ethical leadership style; classical leadership style just had a minor effect on employee engagement. Based on the findings of this research, managers in service sector in Ho Chi Minh City are recommend to applied visionary leadership style and ethical leadership style to enhance the employee engagement level within the organization.en_US
