dc.description.abstractTransportation is part of a logistics procedure which firms identify, evaluate highly as it shows the flow of the goods in the whole supply chain. Costs for this matter has long been an issue for most firms as it is affected by external factors such as unexpected risks, infrastructure and rules passed down by the government. Land transportation is one of the key roles in goods moving, it plays a crucial part in the export-import between countries these days. One of the obvious examples is semi-trailer container trucks transportation. An issue in this field varies but one of the most common one is scheduling for a fleet of trucks to travel in order to not only maximize profit but also to reduce idle time in the timeline and avoid unnecessary risks while traveling on the road. With the help of software these days, modern technology helps companies to manage their trucking fleet better. This paper will present two methods which is suitable for the current situation of Phuong Huy 138 trucking company. These methods will show its advantages in making a fine schedules for the fleet additional with the capabilities to deal with different situations regarding the number of orders everyday. This would also help eliminate the human error factors, schedules which is organized mainly by the human experience.
