dc.description.abstractThe purpose of this research is to test the correlation between factors of Job Stress and Employees Job Performance in hospitality industry (specific in hotels and restaurants). Which factors would affect Job Performance and how its affect. There are 356 questionnaires were derived and collected in 3 weeks. This research applied the quantitative method to analyze the study. The collected data were analyzed by SmartPLS version 3.0. By using this software, the results indicated that independent variables have direct and indirect impact on Job Stress and Job Performance. Job Stress is affected by Workload, Employee Compensation and Relationship in Workplace. Job Performance is performed by Workload, Relationship in Workplace, Physical Workplace Environment, Career Development, Emotional Labor as well as Job Stress. Besides that, Workload, Employee Compensation and Relationship in Workplace have an indirect impact on Job Performance through the mediation of Job Stress. The outcomes of his study therefore can be used as a recommendation for managers and supervisors about employees’ quality of serving.
