dc.description.abstract | “Foreign direct investment (FDI) and trade has been considered as important and irreplaceable factors in improving economic growth in many countries. Therefore, the impact of foreign direct investment and trade on making efforts to promote economic growth has been becoming a hot topic for researchers. This study has been investigating the influences of FDI and trade on GDP of 10 ASEAN countries and Timor-Leste over the period of time 1996 - 2017. Panel data is used on this study, the final findings pointed out that FDI, trade, labor force, and government consumption have positive and significant effects on economic growth in ASEAN during 1996 – 2017.
There were recommendations and suggestions for ASEAN economy to make effort to improve economic growth as well as taking advantages to prepare for new challenges in coming years.” | en_US |
