The thesis performs quantitative research to determine factors impacting the net interest margin of joint-stock commercial banks in Vietnam in the period of 2007-2018. The paper uses a panel data regression model and appropriate tests to have empirical evidence to prove the factors and the extent of the impact of factors on net interest margin. Experimental results show that bank size, capitalization level, lending size, credit risk and discount rate are positively correlated and statistically significant with the net interest margin. Factor is negatively correlated and statistically significant with the net interest margin is management quality. The paper discussed experimental results and gave some solutions to help commercial banks improve their profits. Keyword: net interest margin, joint-stock commercial banks, net interest incomeen_US
