Understanding transformational leadership and innovation performance relationship between absorptive capacity, social networking sites and organizational learning capacity
Abstract
Although the relationship between absorptive capacity, organizational learning capacity, transformational leadership and innovation performance has already been studied by many researchers, there is still a empirical support this point of view in Small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). Therefore, this study specially in purpose at analyzing the affect of transformational leadership on innovation performance of SMEs. The research was conducted following quantitative method. The sample was composed of 154 employees working in SMEs in Ho Chi Minh City. The data were analyzed under the technique of Smart-PLS. The results show that infulence of transformational leadership on innovation performance is not truely significant. Besides, this research analyzes the antecedents that transformational leadership is one of SME’s absorptive capacity main determinants.The study supports evidence for those relations are significant among SMEs.
