This study delves into some of the more traditional leadership theories as well as some of the more modern theories and attempts to investigate the differences in leadership style in term of cultural dimensions. A combination of qualitative and quantitative methods was used to inquire information and data from 77 leaders through the questionnaire surveys and in-depth interviews. The study found the existence of cultural differences in leadership between Vietnamese and foreign leaders, which were effectively explained by the cultural dimensions. Although there were some limitations, this study supported some of the propositions originally made. It is my hope that this study will bring new ideas for further researches on leadership and the relation between cultures and leadership in the future.en_US
