Since the Fourth Industry Revolution was publicly introduced, technology has been used more and more in all fields of social life such as education, production, tourism, services, commerce, etc. To develop the Trade Sector, businessmen always want to bring their goods closer to the customers, marketing has gradually become one of the most important steps for increasing sales. Developers need to create a new protocol which can help retailers connect to smart devices of the customers for advertising their services. iBeacon is one of their products designed for these purposes, it is a BLE proximity beacon that is submitted for compatibility testing under an Apple licensing program, and the Bluetooth proximity functions on Apple systems are referred to in developer documentation as iBeacon frameworks. Various vendors have since made iBeaconcompatible hardware transmitters typically called beacons, a class of BLE devices that broadcast their identifier to nearby portable electronic devices. The technology enables smartphones, tablets and other devices to perform actions when in proximity to an iBeacon. Understanding about many useful applications of iBeacon, I chose this topic for my thesis to learn more about iBeacon devices and also program my own app which can support marketing. I plan to learn about proximity-triggered actions and use its function to build the app for mobile advertisements. After my app is set up on the smart device, it will display some advertisements such as coupons, notification of a sale when this device gets close to an iBeacon of a store or restaurant.en_US
