The production planning and scheduling problem consider fulfilling customer requirements and market demand while allocating resources efficiently. Our paper presents the baseline (without overtime production) and extended (overtime production) models (Mixed – Integer Linear Programming) to minimize the total cost by dividing many big orders into small production quantities and allocating each quantity to many production sites. Python 3.9 is run to get the optimal solutions and validate the models. Finally, the sensitivity analysis of different cases is proposed to help the company get an overview and compare regular and overtime production.en_US
