dc.description.abstractOrder allocation is one of the important processes applied in the digital revolution in the 21 century. Accordingly, several firms from many countries especially in European industry have applied the modern and effective order allocation system for their own operation and Sendo Joint Stock company is not the exception. Nevertheless, the original order allocation system at Sendo has some disadvantages in achieving the operation target of customer satisfaction, customer retention, lead time, cost, and distance. A heuristic using Visual Basic Application (VBA) in order allocation with updated data about the Covid-19 pandemic is introduced and run throughout the research. With the main purpose of following the rapid development of this globally competitive market, this paper mainly describes the new concept of carrier selection to improve the efficiency of the current order allocation system of Sendo e-commerce company, especially for perishable commodities. The total distance and total cost are analyzed with different criteria priorities to validate the system performance and the best process to be used is concluded.en_US
