dc.description.abstractThe world has encountered the terrible impact of Covid 19 pandemic, including the global economy and industry. Many organizations try to improve their system to reduce the cost and increase efficiency, especially in Logistics and Supply Chain area. Warehouse, one of the most important parts of Supply chain, is always the area need to be improved. For a picking process in warehouse, the items are grouped into various batch to minimize the total tardiness. This paper suggests the order batching model with two different approaches: the mathematical model using Cplex and grouped genetic algorithm model using Python. The first model could only solve with small instance in reasonable computing time while the second model is developed to deal with larger instances. Then, the routing method is proposed after batching and compared with three popular routing strategy to evaluate the performance.en_US
