dc.description.abstractModern logistics network today is defined as a two-way network: forward logistics is the direction from the supplier to the customer, and the reverse logistics is the direction from the customer back to the supplier. Although in the past, reverse logistics was not given as much attention as forward logisticsics, nowday, with applications in goods exchange, recycle, repair or maintenance, reverse logistics is more and more interested by researchers and companies. Along with the development of the transportation industry, on the contrary, it is becoming more and more developed, appearing more and able to show its superiority in reducing production costs and transportation costs as well as improving service quality for customers. In this article, reverse logistics will be studied and evaluated its effectiveness through the application to the download network of Scancom Vietnam company. First, a mathematical model is built based on the output information products that the company offers, thereby calculating the transportation cost that Scancom needs to pay for a period of time. Then rebuild a new model using the distribution center, recalculate transportation costs, and test the model's efficiency. Through that, the research will show the advantages of reverse logistics when applied in the manufacturing industry. Finally, the study made a number of other suggestions so that further research could be conducted to clarify the effectiveness of the proposal.en_US
