Nowadays, the demand for item procurement is quickly expanding, posing obstacles and difficulties for the supply chain in general and the warehouse in particular. Warehouses must be adaptable in order to satisfy the demands of consumers. Furthermore, rising customer demand requires warehouses to be flexible in order to organize items in the most efficient manner. This resulted in a complete structural alteration in the warehouse layout. Order picking is a necessary action that accounts for the majority of operational costs while doing warehouse operations. This thesis will go on to create a mathematical model based on batch picking in a warehouse system using multi-storage locations to minimize picker travel distance. and to assist in resolving this issue, this thesis will be presented and based on FPT Retail data. This will lessen the time required to choose items while also assisting the warehouse in operating efficiently and satisfying client expectations. IBM ILOG CPLEX Optimizer will be used in the thesis for the purpose of giving the best results when applying mathematical models.en_US
