dc.description.abstractPositive effects of non-invasive LED light therapy in wound care and aesthetics are being appreciated and widely applied in medicine. Single LED lights with different wavelengths have been shown to be highly effective in speeding up wound healing, pain relief, and inflammation. The effects of single LED light have opened up new research on combining different wavelengths to enhance the possibilities of noninvasive light therapies on patients. Therefore, this study created a combined LED light therapy device and conducted experiments to evaluate the effect of the therapy on mice wound model. Fifteen five-week-old female Swiss mice were wound by cutting and divided into 3 groups: 1 control group with no treatment, other 2 groups treated with a combined wavelength of 850 nm (near infrared) with 630 nm and 940 nm (infrared) with 630 nm, respectively. The therapy for groups of mice was applied 24 hours after wounding at a dose of 5 times/week, 10 minutes each time for 2 consecutive weeks. During two weeks of treatment, wound recovery of two groups of treated mice was compared with control group and showed a faster wound healing time of about 4 days. The therapy group that combined wavelength of 940 nm and 630 nm gave the best results with the ability of blood clotting, wound closure and recovery 1-2 days faster than the 850 nm and 630 nm one. Experiment results showed a good effect on improving wound healing of therapy combined LED light and the potential of this method for future development.en_US
