dc.description.abstractThe supply chain network design optimization model is presented in this research and is solved using IBM CPLEX and Mixed Integer Linear Programming. A Mixed Integer Linear Programming model is constructed using many operational restrictions and parameters recorded from the case firm to achieve the intended target, which is maximizing the profit. The suggested model may be used to make strategic decisions, such as choosing the right number of facilities to build in order to reduce overall supply chain network costs. The goal is to develop a mathematical model to reduce the overall expenses of the supply chain network while taking into account a multi-echelon network with several suppliers, warehouses, consumers, and manufacturers. When examining a multi-echelon network, the proposed model takes the costs of transit between the facilities into account. It is validated using specific examples from the data.en_US
