dc.description.abstract | Job satisfaction is one of the most researched areas of organizational behavior. Job satisfaction generally perceived to be directly linked to productivity as well as to personal
wellbeing. The purpose of this study is to investigate the impact of motivation on job satisfaction among U&I Investment Corporation officers and understand how well the perception related to employee job satisfaction, so the Herzberg Two factors theory is supported to this study,
Hygiene factors and Motivation factors become independent variables while job satisfaction is dependent variable. Both quantitative and qualitative methods were used simultaneously in order
to collect data. Primary data comes from the survey of 198 employees of U&I company. Moreover, respondent are chosen randomly in Head Officer of U&I and representative
employees in subsidiaries and affiliated companies under U&I management. A total of 31 items
in questionnaire was sent directly to selected respondents. In this part, a 5-point LikertM scale and pilot testing were used. After collecting necessary information, Statistical Package for the Social Science (SPSS) was applied for the purpose of analysis and preparation of results.
The analysis from the empirical findings showed that employees at U&I Company
are satisfied with their jobs. There are seven factors affecting employee satisfaction, they are:
policies & management, supervision, payment, working environment, work itself, achievement and promotion | en_US |
