dc.description.abstractTo reach the success in any business, especially the real-estate business, it is undeniable that knowing probably your customers and competitor determines a great part of it. That is explained why nowadays, investors in different business majors spend tons of money in market research. Market research is for discovering what people want, need, or believe. It can also involve discovering how they act. Once that research is completed, it can be used to determine how to market your product efficiently. It is believed that market research to be the quintessence of marketing. As Ho Chi Minh city has been developing in terms of economy. The residents now have got an higher standard of living. That causes the overwhelming demand in good and services. More and more shopping center projects are raising impressively in town, including the project of Tafo Corp in a new potential market, Tanphu. This purpose of this study is nothing but to support the real estate project that the investor – Tafoco hasn’t been familiar with either such market or their potential customer. In applying the tools to carry out this market research, I decide to approach a certain of previous researches of many academic writers which mentioned detail in literature review chapter. Besides, strategic tools which are SWOT analysis and marketing mix are used to identify business’s competitive advantage either. The quantitative and qualitative are both carried out in this research in order to gain the best result. i suppose to design a questionnaire for over 50 companies (food and beverage business) that related to my study. The questions are not simply focus on one typical type bus a mix of in-depth questions, multiple choices and 5 – likert scale. The research is not going to stop at knowing the customers and market. It continues to support the Tafoco project proposal to rate to feasible scale of the project. Moreover, I’ll also give the recommendation on the project design in terms of avoiding risk and gaining interests for the investor.en_US
