dc.description.abstractThis research is conducted to evaluate the effectiveness of recruitment assessment tools used at Manpower Vietnam Ltd, a company which provides a wide range of services for employment, business cycle and offering candidates their expected jobs. The specific tools that Manpower Vietnam Ltd is using to evaluate their potential candidates to find the best talent for their clients are Competency-based Interview (CBI) and Tests as Career Harmony (CH). This research has been conducted from February to May 2012 in Ho Chi Minh City. The reviewing of Literature, related theories and former researches are used to find the appropriate model for this research. The method used in this research is quantitative approach as the main method and data collected from respondents through survey which will be analyzed by SPSS software. The qualitative method will include in-depth interviews and Revenue situation analysis. The final result shows that CBI and CH test received positive responses from Manpower Vietnam Ltd’s staff in assessing and evaluating candidates’ skills, knowledge, traits, and others as well as good performance of Manpower Vietnam Ltd’s staff in conducting these two tools. The interviews, revenue and number of clients analysis shows positive co-relations with the positive results from the clients’ perspective.en_US
