This thesis proposes to design, fabricate and verify the RF front-end for an RFID system operating at 900MHz. The design consists of 3 fundamental RF circuits - an Antenna, a Low Noise Amplifier (LNA), and the Band Pass Filter (BPF) circuits. First, the patch antenna is chosen with micro-trip line design for receiving the signal. Second, the LNA will be designed using the transistor from Agilent Technology. The LNA impedance matching circuit will be designed using the micro-strip line technique for high gain and low noise. Lastly, the design of the filter will be implemented using parallel-couple line technique. For fabrication, the Gerber format file will be exported from ADS software and sent to PCB Company. The final product from the PCB Company will be verified in the Communication Lab at International University.en_US
