| dc.description.abstract | Although project management techniques are necessary, it is the people, the project managers and project team that are the key to project success. A project success requires an effective team. Team is especially important to agile project management which based mostly on collaboration. There are more and more studies about scrum method which based on agile project nowadays. Therefore, knowing which factors value in scrum team effectiveness is important for successful project. This qualitative research paper seeks to indentify factors affecting scrum team effectiveness.
The research mainly focuses on qualitative method. Using in-depth interview with scrum masters and product owners and focus group with developers, some factors were indicated to affect scrum team effectiveness. The result shows that communication, collaboration, clear goal, mutual trust, team mindset, giving feedback, learning and share leadership… can affect scrum
team effectiveness. In these factors, communication and collaboration is very important in a
