Factors affecting employee satisfaction with PTSC production services joint stock company
Abstract
Nowadays, human resource management plays more and more important role in
the literature of economic development. The main responsibilities of HRM are to reduce
the retention rate, to recruit the new talent and to make the contribution for the development of employees as well. In order to reach these goals, HRM has to motivate and inspire people to work for their companies. Employee satisfaction, one of the outcomes of HRM to motivate people, has got various attentions in organizational research.
The objectives of this thesis are to find out factors that affect the satisfaction of employees with PTSC Production Services Joint Stock Company (PPS) and to figure out
the most significant one. Furthermore, the research also proposes some suggestions for company to encourage people contribute their best to improve their performance as well
as to reduce the employee retention rate. The research applied the quantitative approach and used the non-probability convenience sampling design to collect data. The questionnaires survey was delivered to 200 respondents working at PPS. After three weeks, 151 questionnaires surveys were returned and used for the data analysis. SPSS software was applied to analyze data using reliability test, factor analysis and the multiple regression analysis. The main findings shown that employee at PPS expressed satisfaction with work autonomy, followed by the leader or supervision and salary & fringe benefits they receive.
To conclude, the research not only proposes some recommendations for the company to inspire employees work for their organization but also points out the
limitations and the suggestions for future research.
