These days, life is full of troubles and pressures; people work very hard and often ignore their health. One of the leading problems related to human health is sleep. Most people just sleep for 3-4 hours a day which is not enough. In reality, for maximum productivity, people should sleep about 6-7 hours a day. Therefore, the lack of sleep can often lead to a lot of diseases such as insomnia. There are many methods for treatment of insomnia, but most of these methods are time- consuming and expensive. Thus people with insomnia can choose to solve the problem using sedatives or drugs which help them go to sleep quickly. However, these methods are not safe and can cause harm to human health. In this thesis, I developed a sleep assistance device using two methods which do not penetrate the human body. The first method is to use the resonance frequency and create the oscillation frequency from 1.2Hz to 5Hz. The frequency range of stage 1 in the sleep state human, this method helps people easily fall into the first stage of sleep. The second method is to use music therapy by creating the music player. This method uses a music USB card connected to the device; the patient can copy the music therapy or even chose their favorite music to listen to while sleeping. Two proposed method maybe good compared to using drugs or other measures that enter the body. Patients can feel more comfortable and safe when using this device to support sleeping. This device was successfully developed and sent to some patient for testing. Those patients have already given their feedback as well as come some advice regarding the device.
