dc.description.abstract | The research “Infulence of Leadership Style on Employee Motivation in Transcend Limited People (TPL)” was conducted to develop a model measuring leadership style of Mr. Ken Tran of Transcend People Limited Company, and test the impacts of his Leadership Style on TPL’s Employee Motivation.
In order to get this objective, from February 2013 to May 2013, the research has been conducted in Transcend People Limited Company. The research was started by reviewing literatures, related theories, and other sources of data to identify and modify
the original theories of motivation of Hierarchy of needs theory (Maslow, 19470), Two factor theory (Herzberg,1960s), Acquired needs theory (McClelland, 1990s), Equity theory, Expectancy theory, Goal setting theory to computed with leadership style theory
of Lussier & Achua, 2004 and the fact happened in Transcend People Limited Company come from the interviewing process to gain the model with five dimensions of employee motivation and leadership style. Interviewing process also adjusted the scale of this model to be suitable with company environment of TPL.
Both qualitative and quantitative methods were used in this research. At first stage, qualitative method was used to test the questionnaire precise, after that, revising
the questionnaire and conducting quantitative research. However, quantitative was the main method of the research. A sample of 220 employees in Transcend People Limited Company were surveyed, the collected data was analyzed by SPSS program version 19.0. Descriptive statistics was conducted to provide the overall information about assessment
of respondents toward the leadership style of this company. Then, Reliability and Factor Analysis were applied to test the reliability of measurement scale and refine the scale. After that, to define the relationship among independent variables as well as relationship between dependent variable and independent variables, the research conducted correlation test and multiple linear regression analysis. Finally, the results of statistical
analyzing process have provided evidence to support hypotheses that Employee

Motivation are positively affected by internal service quality components including:
which are Relationship, Recognition, Promotion, Challenge and Empowerment. Among them, the Challenge dimension with the highest Beta value (0.441) has strongest impact
on Employee Motivation, next is Empowerment (0.332) and then Relationship (0.308) and Recognition (0.281), and the lowest Beta is Promotion (0.240).Thus, the results and findings from this research should be concerned and applied to increase some action in
the leadership style, especially Relationship, Recognition, Promotion, Challenge and Empowerment due to they have the significant impacts on the Employee Motivation level.
Although there are limitations of this research which is proposed with some practical implications and recommendations in order to improve Leadership Style as well as
Employee Motivation level of Transcend People Limited Company | en_US |
